 A no non-sense survival knife!

This blade is the perfect length and design for survival applications and most bushcraft chores. It comes razor sharp and the bow drill divit in the handle really does work. This knife is built tough and sturdy as a tank and holds a great edge. I wish the blade was not quite so thick, as it makes some of the finer bushcraft chores difficult as well as field dressing game. The only other improvement I would suggest is a ferro rod/flint striking edge built into the spine of the blade. You don't want to sacrifice your blades edge in a real survival situation just to make sparks. ESEE knives are well thought out and will provide years or even generations of service if you take care of them. This blade will take about any abuse you can throw at it. I highly recommend it and you will not regret your purchase.
