 Gerber Gator Brush Thinner Machete with Sheath Gerber Gator

Bought this Machete and used it for about a week and the handle just broke while I was cutting a limb, then I realized that it was a plastic shaft handle. I haven't got back with Gerber yet I am trying to find a number to call.
I liked the feel of this Machete but it can't hold up under pressure. I hope they will give it a better handle and I hope they will fix mine.

New no slip handle too weak

Third one of these I bought.
First two had different handles and still work great. Bought the new on with no slip handle. Handle broke without much serious use.
