Razor sharp out of the box, point like a needle, grippy zytel handle and a super hard 20CV steel blade. Will serve as a great big game hunting knife as well as bushcraft duties. The duratech steel is amazing. Sheath is leather, but seems like it's made of mediocre quality. Highly recommend this knife for big game processing (in the field), tactical use, and bushcraft. The extra cost for the duractech 20CV steel seems like it's worth the extra expense. I'm sure it'll hold an edge under gruelling conditions.
