i was really hyped about this knife. i gotta say that i was disappointed with the safety button. i like the idea but in practice its stiff rough and really hard on my thub. maybe i had just set my hopes too high?

one word wow when i first thought about getting this knife i was scepticule but tell you the truth best knife buy i made. i collect knives as a hobey and this one stands out this thing is rugid(pardon the spelling) and atractice at the same time i recomend this

 Good knife, one drawback...

This is a very nice knife, the only drawbacks that are immediately apparent is when I put it in my pocket the softgrip is starting to come up off the aluminum. I've used a small zip tie to keep it intact and has been working fine so far. I clipped the zip tie and brushed in on a wirewheel to de-bur the tie.

I bought my Gerber about a year and a half ago after much fustration with competing brands that fell short at every turn. i must say this knife stands out above all! It holds its edge durable and ease of use. Thank you Gerber for restoring my faith in American craftmanship.
