disappointment in Gerber

Today I made a special trip by WA ferry ($20)to buy two RX1050s at REI. The rear on/off doesn't work on either. The adjustable beam is of little value and each of the three batteries provide less than 3V. I'll try to get a refund. Meanwhile I'll have to come up with two different presents.
