  Product Information
Gerber Legendary Blades is proud beyond description to introduce our first spring-assisted knife. The FAST Draw relies on our proprietary new blade opening concept—Forward Action Spring Technology—that's so lightning-quick, so pleasingly easy to open with just one hand, it's aL.E.D.
L.E.D.
L.E.D. Lights: Stands for Light Emitting Diode. L.E.D.s are tiny light bulbs that fit easily into an electrical circuit. But unlike ordinary incandescent bulbs, they don't have a filament that will burn out, and they don't get especially hot. They are illuminated solely by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material, and they last just as long as a standard transistor. L.E.D. lights don't force your eyes to re-adjust every time you use them. That makes getting around in the dark much easier.
drawing a lot of attention among knife folks everywhere.

The mechanism was created exclusively for us and patented by famed Oregon knife maker Butch Vallotton.

Should you choose, you can open the FAST Draw in the traditional way, using the thumb stud. Or, if speed is the order of the day, you can simply trigger the blade's sudden release with your index finger. It's an exciting knife concept that certainly belongs in your collection.

Ive had a few gerber knives in the past. Recently I bought one for my cousin for christmas and within two days, the srping inside the knife broke. VERY UPSET, AND DISAPPOINTED

Amazing knife

I just recently bought myself one of these knives only mine has a tianium coating on the blade so it should hold up better against rust, but I've used a friends before and they can be pretty handy for small game hunting since it's more compact than my fixed blade hunting knife. The straight edge needed a slight sharpenning, but was able to cut my skin out of the box (if it can't cut skin it's too dull to use). Overall a good knife in general and at a good price, glad I spent the extra money to get it over the paraframe model that only had a stainless blade, plus the F.A.S.T. was a big draw since I use my knife a lot.

best knife i've ever had

I've had this knife for around 3 years and it's the best knife i have owned. Mine has taken a lot of abuse; cutting cable, wires, and just about everything you shouldnt use a knife for. Two downsides to this knife: The blade feels loose and wiggles. Tightening the screws helps, but hinders the fast draw. Second problem was the clip. It bent out of shape and eventually snapped. Other than that, it's a really good knife. I plan on buying another soon.

My knife has the titanium coating to. It sees a lot of abuse in my field. It has never let me down and has never needed sharpened. I havent had it for long but I can tell I will have it for a long time to come.

ive had this knife for about 3 months and it has stayed pretty sharp. im a boatswain's mate in the us coast guard and my knife gets beat up pretty bad everyday. the blade has started to rust and the clip to hold the knife on to your belt has bent out so it falls off a lot, but it works really good and the spring assisted draw makes it so easy to get out.

Real Quick: 15 months in Iraq, took a beating, held an edge, love the spring assist faster than other brands.
