Introducing a clip folder for knife people who prefer the look of a straight spine; the profile reveals a "seamless" design that begins at the back of the blade and continues along the length of the upper edge of the handle. In fact, the EVO and EVO JR. actually have a little bit of the dagger in them.

Another aesthetic design touch is the series of seven slanting oval openings in the anodized

locking mechanism failed!

i personally think that the knife was alright. But the locking mechanism failed on me and i got a deep cut from it.

This is a nice knife. Size and price are right. I have the non-serrated version. Design is flawed and needs refinement though. LOTS of edges that catch and rip anything you sit on...including the bench seat in a restaurant on the first day I owned the knife. Nothing a little judicious grinding with a Dremel won't fix, but wait for the next version or use your Dremel!

I have had Gerber Knifes for over 30 years. They have served my well. I recently purched the EVO Jr. I noticed that the holes in the handle and the clip seem to have an alignment issue. It seems that the way the clip rests againest the handle it causes the inner part of my pocket to start to rip.

Great knife for the money, good blade shape, and very sharp new. Very little side to side movement when blade is open and good locking.
