  Product Information
Introducing a clip folder for knife people who prefer the look of a straight spine; the profile reveals a "seamless" design that begins at the back of the blade and continues along the length of the upper edge of the handle. In fact, the EVO and EVO JR. actually have a little bit of the dagger in them.

Another aesthetic design touch is the series of seven slanting oval openings in the anodized
anodized
Anodized Material: A metal, typically aluminum, that has been coated with a protective or decorative layer of oxide, through a process of electrochemical conversion. The anodizing process affects the surface as well as the interior the metal. The anodized parts are quite durable, do not tarnish, resist abrasions, and maintain their cosmetic appearance for a long period of time.
aluminum handle. They serve to make these knives both organic and aggressive. Functionally, the oval openings further reduce the overall weight of these knives to near nothingness.

The blades are constructed of high carbon stainless steel that is coated with Titanium
Titanium
Titanium Metal: A material that can be both hard and tough; widely used to armor jet fighters. About 1/3 lighter than steel. Very useful for knife parts, but will not hold an edge so is not useful as a blade.
nitride for added corrosion resistance. There's a thumb stud and finger clip for easy one-handed opening. And, there's an integral fingerGuard
Guard
Hand Guard: The guard is a barrier between your hand and the sharp edge. It will project out of the handle, to stop forward motion of your hand. The guard can be a separate component that is soldered or pinned on the blade, or an integral design element that can be formed by including a projection on the blade blank itself. On some fighters, the guards are meant not just to protect your hand from sliding up on the blade, but also to provide protection from the opponent's blade sliding down your blade and onto your hand.
for an extra measure of safety. Bottom line? You'd do well to own such a highly evolved knife

i have had this knife for a little over a year, and put it through hell in that time. It has been exposed to salt water, engine oil, dropped, and even crushed many times and only has minor scrapes and scuffs. holds an edge extremely well and is easy to use with one hand. overall this is a top quality knife, the only draw-back is, it is made in china.

This knife is ok, but very hard to close. Good buy 4 the price.

Excellent Knife

This knife cannot be beat for the price. The blade holds an edge for a long period of time through moderate use. It's well balanced and extremely light. I love the one handed opening feature and I've yet to "accidently" unlock the knife during use. Pretty much the only bad thing about the knife is that it's made in China. But then again, it's tough to find a knife that isn't these days.

a budget knife, with an expensive kick

The evo jr. is a great knife. it's sturdy, it's reliable, and all around great. The only problem with it is that it is hard to shut.
