Using the pliers and losing the grip will givwe you a great pinch-point on your hand. Also the rivets holding it together gave out after three years.

I have owned a lot of these tools over the years. I'll admit, I'm hard on tools. I believe the a tool should be used, not buffed to a pretty shine. I use them, I break them, and I'll never own another but this one.
