  Product Information
Take the Armor in hand and you’ll discover just how ergonomic a tactical knife can be.We took considerable care in shaping the Micarta
Micarta
Micarta Material: Layers of linen cloths soaked in resin and pressured together. Most commonly used on more stylish knives due to its rich finish qualities. Available in colors.
handle to fit the human hand, right down to the thumb ridges.Dual thumbstuds and a finger flipper facilitate easy one-hand opening. The all-business Tanto
Tanto
Tanto Blade: The classic Japanese tanto shape has the point exactly inline with the spine of the blade, and has a graceful belly curve. Most tantos seen on the American cutlery market are the Americanized tanto format. Like the Japanese tanto, the Americanized tanto has a high-point in-line with the spine. A flat grind is applied to the point, leaving it very thick and massively strong. The front edge meets the bottom edge at an obtuse angle, rather than curving to meet it as in the Japanese tanto. There is a separate grind applied to the bottom edge, often a hollow grind to leave this edge extremely sharp. Other tanto formats have become popular also, and modifications such as clipping the point or applying a chisel-grind are often seen.
blade is engineered from high-carbon stainless steel coated black for a low visibility signature.

awesome knife

I like this knife because it is very strong and sharp right out if the box.I got the etching done to it and it is well worth the small charge,it personalizes something that will probably last forever. The handle is smooth and not a very good grip, but the shape of it keeps it in your hand very well. You can put a lanyard on the handle if desired. Overall this knife seems to be very well made and very useful in many situations.:)

I had this knife all through my first deployment to Iraq and I couldn't have had a better knife to rely on I just wish I still had it. Set it down and a pair of sticky fingers relieved me of it. I guess thy needed it more than I did.

great knive!!!!

this is a beautifully crafted knive. i got it only 3 days after i ordered it, with regular ground shipping! the blade is razer sharp, and crazy strong. when i was in one of my cornfields, it sawed through a cornstalk like butter.the only thing is the handle is very smooth, and does not have very good gripping. overall, a great knive!

I've used this knife as my boat knife for the last year. I'm still yet to see a spec of rust on it despite constant emmersion in salt water without rinsing it off. Holds a great edge and has a sweet handle.

Great Field Knife

I've had this knife for a little over 4 months and I am incredibly impressed with it. Tough, sharp and good in a pinch; this is a knife I will keep on my belt for years to come. Gerber has always been a trusted name as far as I am concerned, but this particular tool goes above and beyond what I expected. Buy it, use it, love it. -crair
