I have had this knife for a while. you cannot open it with one hand, but in is too bulky a knife to want to anyway. Good weight, and grip. Man, you cant beat that gator grip, its the best. I am thinking about getting a fixed blade gator, because i love them so much. One of my favorite knives. Gut hook opens squirrels and rabbit up nicely. Havent got a chance with a deer to use it yet.
