This is one great piece of equipment! I was never a fan of the multi-tool b/c I never found one that "fit". That changed with this unit. I've only had mine about 6 mos but I use this thing every day & believe me it gets quite a work-out. I think it's safe to say I've pushed the limits of it's design, but it's never let me down. Now I'm never without it, it goes everywhere with me. Great job on this one folks!

This is the same Multi-tool that I was issued in the Canadian Forces. I used this tool in the field and in garrison, and it has always performed above expectations. Now that I am out of the military, I will be picking one of my own up soon.

I've had this very same tool for over 10 years and it's been the best thing out htere. I've tried all of the other brands, and they, all of them are not as useful or as comfortable to own. I have experienced cut hands, and fingers due to the poorly designed other tools. But when using a gerber it is softly round on the edges and is a very comfortable fit in anyone's hand. It works superbly and it has never failed to save me a few hundred trips looking for tools that I can't find in a hurry or in a pinch, and it will always fill in in a pinch. When time is of the essence, this is the best tool to have on ypour belt, and it will get you out of a pinch, and on with the important things. Thank'x for thinking of the users needs and comfort. Go ahead and try the rest, you'll always come back to this tool. It really works and I'll never be sorry that I experienced the others, cuz without that I would have never really known that this is the best, not only to use but also to own!!!

Far better than the competition

I have owned the "other" multi-tools and simply put them away after a while due to lack of functionality, weight or in one case, customer service. I have used my 400 model for 3 years and find it indispensable whether camping, biking or just around the house. Great tool.

In the security business you have to have the right tools for the job. This multi tool is wonderful for going in the toughest places where you cant carry other tools it's worth the money.

Top pocket tool ...

My boys, now young men out on many outdoor adventures, grew up over the last 10 years with this tool in their pack or on their belt. It remains on their and my 10-essentials list. It's relatively light weight. The quick-flick one-hand to open plier is huge. I've borrowed other tools for tasks and always dislike them compared to this item.
