Also, a blade format where the top of the blade has a cutout (or "clip") at the top of the blade. The cutout is either concave or straight. Clipping the blade brings the point of the knife lower, for control. It also makes the tip sharper. Since the sharp point is one of the goals of this format, the clip is often accompanied by a false edge. This format is often combined with a good-sized curving belly, for slicing ability. The combination of a controllable, sharp point and plenty of belly makes the clip point an excellent all-around format.

I LOVE this knife.

I bought this knife several years ago and I have never regretted it. It is easy to sharpen, holds an edge well, and the locking mechanism is simple and sound. The sleek design of the knife makes it very easy to clip onto the inside of your pocket and still be able to put your hand in without being bothered by the knife. This is my all time favorite knife that I have ever bought and I will continue to use it until it becomes unusable.

Absolutely the worst knife I have ever owned. Closes quite easily by itself. Couldn't pay me to have another one.

Geat knife, sharp, last a long time. Only problem is at first it is a little hard to open but that will become easier after a week or so. Strong knife and feels good.
