 my best tool in Iraq

I went to Iraq in 2004 assigned to a maint unit and this tools was the as valuble as my weapon,helmet,flack vest,web gear,I found a pouch that alowed me to hang it on my web gear so it was easy to reach while lugging all the gear needed to survive. it was a tool box of tools without the box. thankyou. I bought my legend two years ago and use it daily at work and home. The knife blade holds an edge longer than any multitool or knife i"ve owned. On the down sideis the rubber inserts on the handle which come off and the three components that are no longer usable do to breakage. The tool also never seemed to "break in",that point when the blades and pleir head become easy to open.

This is truely a great product. It is the best multi-tool you can buy bang for buck. The one I purchased came with a sheath and multiple adapter. It still holds up except for the wire cutters which I did not abuse yet snapped when I cut regular sized wire for marking purposes only which im sure was a fluke since I used thier knife for both iraq and afghanistan and it held up1 Gerber is great!

Outstanding tool. I use it exclusively religating my Leatherman tools to a backup roll.
I also broke one of the tcarbide wire cutter blades the first time I used them. I contacted Gerber and found them rediculusly expensive to replacer. (I lost the replacements that came with the tool)
