I have used this every day for the last 2 - 3 years. It is a heavy duty and very dependable tool. If I go to work without it, I feel naked.
The only thing I don't like is the sheeth. The plier jaws have poked a hole through the bottom and can scratch my leather chair when I sit down.
I am looking for a better sheeth. I don't think you can find a better multi tool on the market.

I bought this Gerber tool 7 years ago. I got tired of buying other tools and breaking them in a couple months and buying another just to do the same. I wanted a tool that could last and if I had any problems a company that stands behind there products. That’s why I bought a Gerber Muli-Tool. I use this tool very hard every day in my line of work. What astonished me was the strength of this tool. I had the knife end of this tool brake. I sent the tool back, Gerber replaced the blade at no cost and had the tool back to be within a week. WOW what service and I might add at no charge to me what so ever for return shipping. I only buy Gerber Muli-Tools for my employees and I tell everyone, you want a tool that lasts and a company that stands behind there products. Buy a Gerber it will be the last Muli-Tool you will ever need.

as a man who works with and relies on his tools everyday I can honestly say my gerber is one of my most trusted tools. each day it is subjected to all types of conditions ,each one more demanding than the last it has never let me down and neither has the manufacturer when i needed a few replacement parts due to age and use gerber stepped in and replaced them free of cherge . while in the ARMY a gerber knife was at my side every day i still have it to this day .In my opinion no one does it better than GERBER
