The knife remained sharp even after the step son used it with a magnesium/flint fire starter. The positive locking mechanism is absolutely the best I've seen. Much better than the other brand multi-tools I own. I would like to see the lanyard loop with as an option with another tool to swap out.

 Good all-around multi-tool

I bought this tool to replace my last Gerbertool that isn't "lost proof". This replacement works well in all areas except one..the can opener is very difficult to you almost to the point of being non-functional. It will open a can but not very pretty and you might get some metal in the products of the can. I do like the new locking feature on the blades. Wire cutters can't stand up to barbed wire.
