I got the 600 basic as a gift last year and I love it. I carry it hunting, fishing, and leave it in my car the rest of the time. It hasn't failed me yet.

I have had this Multi-Plier 600 for about 6 yrs.I am a Pro Furniture Mover and wear this tool on my side every day.I use this tool on the average of 2 to 3 X a day.The awsome no slip grip of vertually every nut and bolt has been the best feature but,even the screw driver tips are all there still.I wish I could display a photo. after 6yrs of heavy use and sharpening of the blades I am just now getting to the point where it is time to replaces the blades,hell even the sheath has lasted this long.I have'nt & wont ever use a leatherman in place of this fine well crafted Multi-Tool. Thank you Gerber , I look forward to many more yrs. of usage out of this tool.

My son gave me a Gerber Multi-Plier for my birthday a few years ago. The pins that hold the pliers intact keep goming out and it then falls apart. Can this be repaired or will you replace this Multi- Plier if I send it to you. They worked great for a short period of time and I didn't abuse them enough to cause this problem.

I BOUGHT A GERBER MULTI-PLIER 600 BASIC BLUNTNOSE BLACK WITH NYON SHEATH AND I HAVE USED IT IN MY FORESTRY WORK. I AM QUITE DISAPPOINTED WITH IT. USING IT TO CUT SMALL STICKS, LIMBS, BUSHES, ETC. AND I ENDED UP BREAKING THE KNIFE BLADE AND THE SERRATED CUTTING BLADE.
