Well it worked good for the couple times I used it unitl today, I went ot cut a 1.5 inch evergreen and the blade broke off in the soft tree and the folding hinge basically busted the spring and broke. I put some pressure while cutting but nothing out of the ordinary. Contacting Gerber today to see if the will honor the product.

The first time I tried to use it was today. I was changing the blade from wood to bone and when I pulled the wood blade out the ultra sonic welded handle opened up on the seam and all the hinge parts landed in the back of my truck. Contacting Gerber to see what they are willing to do about it. Terrible product from what I can see.

this is the best saw out there. I use the coarse blade for trimming around the house and the woods. Cutting all sizes of limbs and trees. The Fine blade for process big game bones and horns. Mine was the only one in camp, now there is 5 new ones. great product.

I've used this saw for about 2 weeks straight. I used it to cut 2" size Mesquite and 1" Huisache branches and it goes through them like a hot knife through butter.

This saw has been in my pack for about 1 year and for the 6 limbs it has cut it did great. The blades are sharp and cut fast. Recently needed use this saw and the blade was falling out of the hinge, which is broken and no longer works.

I have used these saws for years. I use them a lot and every few years they ware out and I buy a new one. Not now. Now they are made in China and they are crap. all the parts are supper thin and flimsy. I went to cut a 2" limb with my new saw and the flimsy blade just just bent. Now way I am putting this saw in my pack this year. go back to your original design (made in the USA) and I will buy another one.

I have been using my Gerber for 11 years on long wilderness trips. It became the only saw we carried. The plastic case has finally given up the fight when I tried to change the blade this last time. I am buying another one!

I got the saw in a gerber turkey hunting kit with a saw two blades and turkey carrier. When i bought it i thought it would be a product with great reliability but the spring-hinge assembly broke wile using it now it does not lock at all didnt use it much and now seems like a cheap product going to contact company and see what they can do.
