This is the handiest tool I have ever carried in my pocket. It is compact but useful. I have carried others but once this one is broke in one hand opening and operation is the best of all.

I carried my Gerber 400 for over 8 years, it´s the coolest and thoughest tool ever I´ve seen many other similar tools breaking apart, swiss and leatherman ones, yet mine had a real hard live and proven worthy, never failed, unfortunally it was stolen at Santiago, Chile airport from my locked backpack, if you have to fly with them please hide them into your clothes or you´ll be missing it as hell, as I do. Top tool, top choice!

I loved this tool until i tried to open a beer with it (stuck in the hills of course), The bottle opener will not fit on a beer bottle! I still think its a great tool, but at least give it a decent bottle opener.

The Gerber 400 Compact is by far the best product I've ever purchased. I've had mine for almost 8 years now, and it's more than paid for it's self. It's pretty durable I've broken the knife blade, but the lifetime service warranty is unbeatable. I almost feel like McGuyver when I have it & almost naked & useless when I'm without it or forget it. It's one of the first things I put on in the morning. Sometimes my girlfriend gets jealous that I talk about it so much with such high regards. Ha Ha Thank You Gerber!

Best Multi-Tool

This was one of my first knives. My uncle, a serious outdoorsman and hunter gave this to me as a gift. I've had it since I was probably eight years old. It is still tough and I bring it on every trip and every hike, even when i have my lmf II and my gator. I am only 14, but i know how knives work. The blade is great(par. serrated are my favorite) and nice and long for carving and cutting. Its got all the screw drivers, a can opener, a small pair of scissors(not my fav but handy)and the needlenose pliers. its a great fit in my hand and is easy to use. The only downside is when dirt or small rocs get into the slider to open it, it becomes a challenge because they jam it up, but a good rinse and its good to go. Best multitool ever.
GERBER IS THE BEST!

I have used this tool on the job for about 5 years now and the only complaint is that all of the flat head screwdriver tools broke off.
